Pac Man’s New Mazes Released

Yes, it true folks! The first new mazes in over 25 years, is being unveiled by the original game creator at the annual Xbox 360 Pac Man World Championship.

The first Pac Man was created in 1981 by Toru Iwatani, rapidly becoming a worldwide gaming experience to be noticed. The world top 10 players in the world gathered in New York City to pay their homage to the first Xbox 360 Pac Man World Championship.

The surprise was bigger because, the 10 players were the first to test the newly fresh Championship Edition game, featuring the new mazes in over 25 years. The winner was a 27 year old man from Mexico, who had been playing Pac Man since 1986.

He beat a man from Austria in the final, to claim the title of World Champion.

The new mazes featured benefit from an extra make-over, which can be a certain problems for few Pac-Man users. The top tournament players were from different continents and countries around the world, including Canada, Mexico, Taiwan, U.S and more. To be present at this level of the competition, they had to overcome national qualifiers.

The winner, Romero receives 26 years of free Quiznos sandwiches, 100,000 Microsoft Points for games and content available on Xbox LIVE, and a one-of-a-kind Xbox 360 signed by Iwatani and featuring a special design inspired by Pac-Man.

Recent press releases, describe the game as the same game played in the 80’s but with a touch of brilliance, which would please Pac Man lovers, in terms of updated levels and features. These include new malleable mazes that change appearance during game play, high tech graphics, fresh audio soundtracks and six new timed game modes.

The influence of Pac Man around the world is tremendous, ranging from different cultures to a single innovative idea. Throughout history, it is thought that the original Pac Man arcade game has been played more than 10 billion times in its 27 year history.
