30 streams only in Winamp
This was quite a known issue in some older versions of Winamp 5, now fixed. If you are using an older version of Winamp 5 and you’ve just discovered that when opening the Media Library and selecting the Streaming Media, you get only 30 streams, no matter what station genre or bandwidth you select, then the best solution would be to upgrade Winamp to its latest version (or at least to a version higher than 5.23). Of course, you better check first if in the Winamp’s Media Library options the limit number of fetched listings is not set to 30 or less. (Go to Winamp Preferences -> General Preferences -> Media Library -> Streaming Media -> Modify (Streaming Radio Cache) Preferences to check that).
But if for whatever reason you don’t want to upgrade your Winamp, you may try an unofficial fix available on here. Anyway, this is a solution more suitable for the really experienced, more advanced users, not exactly recommended for the beginners.
For internet shoutcast radio stations you may also visit www.shoutcast.com and choose a radio station from there. Many sorting options are available.
Anyway, the best option remains to upgrade your WinAmp. At least now you know this is quite a common issue, not a problem only on your computer.
