New Features Added In Google Docs
Google Docs is a web based service offered by Google that allows you to manage documents, spreadsheets and presentations online. This service provides multiple useful editing, publishing, sharing and collaboration features in case of a wide range of file formats (DOC, XLS, ODT, ODS, RTF, CSV, PPT and more).
New documents can be created from scratch or based on existing unique templates. The documents editing process is based on a WYSIWYG ( What You See Is What You Get) editor that has an user friendly interface. There are also provided many publishing options.
Recently, Google Docs service has been enhanced with new features. The spreadsheets editor has an improved graphical user interface with accessible menus and allows users to share documents through a simple operation.
The documents can have tables of content: if heading styles are used for title sections, the adding of table of content supposes the selection of Table of Contents entry from the Insert menu. In this way, the user will be able to organize the content and document navigation in an efficient manner. The “Look Up Word” feature makes possible the usage of a dictionary, thesaurus, and encyclopedia for U.S English only making easy the finding of words definitions or synonyms.
Google presentations new interface permits the increasing of the slide size and thumbnails visual properties during the editing process. The slide zooming feature allows users to zoom in or out the presentation slides in order to better visualize their details. Google Docs service is free to use for everyone having a valid Google account. As a component of Google Apps, it will constantly be improved with new features.

Thanks for sharing. We are getting ready to scope out an integration with Google Docs tomorrow. I am hoping that our customers will enjoy the ability to collaborate on documents much more readily that in MS Office.
Thanks.
