The New Domain Fight Service Performs A Simultaneous Search Of NAP and WIPO Databases
Domain Fight, a new web based service owned by USpeakWeType Technologies, LLC, was created in order to simplify the tasks of Complainant and Respondents implicated in domain name and cybersquatting disputes under the Uniform Dispute Resolution Policy (UDRP).
According to the ICANN (Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers) UDRP policy, “most types of trademark-based domain-name disputes must be resolved by agreement, court action, or arbitration before a registrar will cancel, suspend, or transfer a domain name”.
Domain Fight unifies the search of WIPO (World Intellectual Property Organization) and NAF(National Arbitration Forum) panel decisions by performing simultaneous queries for both databases using the same engine.
The main purpose of Domain Fight service is to provide pertinent information regarding domain name and cybersquatting disputes in a minimum amount of time. For example if someone suspects that a person is cybersquatting a certain domain name, by searching the WIPO and NAF databases in the same time, can check out if the name of the registrant was involved into a UDRP arbitration proceeding before.
The searching process is simple: the user must type into the search form the domain registrant whois data and select the corresponding radio button on the search bar.
