TooManyTabs Mozilla Firefox Add-On Improves Memory Usage And User Browsing Experience
Firefox, one of the most popular web browsers in the world provides tabbed navigation functionality, but all tabs are situated in one row. If a user opens a large number of tabs, the navigation process become difficult, more time being needed to search and find the desired tab.
Fortunately, TooManyTabs Mozilla Firefox add-on solves this issue by allowing users to store and organize extra tabs in multiple rows visible in the main browser window. This system provides a quick access to any previously opened tab, required by a certain user priority.
The number of rows is customizable ( you can have up to six rows) and permits the storage of up to fifty tabs. The add-on is also able to restore up to 20 of the recently closed tabs. The tabs existing in a row can be styled with different colors, pinned or reopened in the main active tabs row of the web browser.
When too many tabs are opened in the same time into the Firefox web browser, the process of memory consumption is intensified. The most important advantage of this add-on is represented by the fact that by organizing the idle tabs in rows, will free up the memory.
Multiple instances of TooManyTabs add-on cannot exist in different windows, as a consequence the rows containing various tabs will not be saved when a new Firefox window will be opened.
TooManyTabs Firefox add-on is very lightweight ( it has only 58 KB in file size) and can be downloaded from addons.mozzila.org website. By adding this enhancement to the Firefox web browser, the user browsing experience will be definitely improved.
