Over 10 Million Users Should Update Chrome: Stable Version of Google Chrome is Ready For Free Download
After the launching of Google Chrome beta version in early September 2008 in more than 100 countries, the new stable release is available for free download for over 10 million active users.
The improvements, reflected in 14 updates of the browser during a period of three months, were performed based on the users feedback and makes Google Chrome a valuable competitor for the actual browsers market.
The stable version of Google Chrome provides a better management of video files through an increased performance of the video related plug-ins. The rendering engine displays pages with higher speed and the startup time is lower as compared with the beta version.
Bookmarks management is also updated: Google Chrome allows the importing and exporting of bookmarks for an easy synchronization with another web browser. Also, the Bookmark Manager permits users to organize, search and browse their favorite links in a better way.
Google Chrome offers a safe environment for Internet navigation with an unique security mechanism given by a sandbox technology. In the same time, malware attacks could be minimized through the Safe Browsing option.
According to the Official Google Blog, in the near future, Google Chrome will have support for RSS feeds and web based forms autofill.
