Google Image Search Has New Filters For Content Types: Clip Art and Line Drawings
Google continuously improves the quality of search results in order to improve the user experience. Google Image Search service, which permits anyone to perform a comprehensive image search over an impressive database, has been updated with two new filters for content types: Clip Art and Line Drawings (related article:INTSPEI Search Cloudlet: Google And Yahoo Search Based On Tag Clouds).
These filters were added next to the existing ones for content types, namely photo content, news content and faces. They can be enabled from the Google Advanced Image Search web page by clicking the corresponding radio button.
The Clip Art and Line Drawings filters will narrow the search results by providing relevant images related to cartoons and drawings for example, as compared with a search filtered with photo content option, when the highest percent of results will be formed by a large number of images containing photographic characteristics.
The images returned as a result of a certain search query could be supplementary filtered based on their size, file type (JPG, GIF, PNG, BMP) or colors composition (black and white, gray scale, full color). The modification of a filter on a new search operation will not change the query typed into the search box.
The Clip Art and Line Drawings filters will make easier the browsing of more relevant images results associated with a given search query, when you look for a certain clip art or other elements for design or presentations.
