SystemRescueCd Is Able To Automatically Restore Your System
If the operating system is damaged and you cannot recover valuable data, SystemRescueCd is a free utility that can repair it only by booting the CDROM or an USB drive. SystemRescueCd practically is composed by a Linux system containing useful tools for hard disk partitions and files management, networking related software and more.
Among a large variety of tools included in SystemRescueCD, you will find GNU Parted, Partimage, FSArchiver, TestDisk, Samba, Midnight Commander, Clam-AntiVirus, lynx, Python and other. In the version 1.1.4, the standard kernels were updated to Linux-2.6.27.10, which provides support for Reiser4 file system.
