Plinky Feeds Your Blogging Inspiration: The Fight Against Blogger’s Block
Blogging ideas could be an asset needed by many web content writers. Good sources of inspiration exist in almost every news aggregation or microblogging service. As compared with the common methods of getting blogging ideas, Plinky is a new microblogging service that challenges bloggers to create inspired content based on daily questions (prompts).
The answers could contain images, maps, playlists or any other elements. The user is able to share these elements or the answers content on Facebook, Twitter or on an existing blog (many popular blogging services like Blogger, LiveJournal, TypePad and more are supported).
In order to be able to use this microblogging service, first you will have to perform a sign up process formed by a few steps followed by an automatic login. After the finalization of the account details specification, the user is allowed to associate its blog to the Plinky account. In case of an unsupported platform, a certain code will be provided to be embedded in the blog template structure.
Plinky microblogging service was founded by Jason Shellen, also the current CEO. He was involved in the development of many Google projects (like Blogger) and the product manager of Google Reader.
In the recent press articles, there are various opinions about the apparition of this service on microblogging market. One of these articles grabbed my attention because it underlines the fact that the reason of foundation and existence of Plinky is “to help fight blogger’s block”, according to Jason Shellen. Related to this affirmation, an obvious question may arrise: “Will Plinky win the fight against blogger’s block?”
