Yahoo! Search Pad: The Notes And Search Sessions Organized Easy
Yahoo! launched Search Pad, a new tool that helps users to organize their search sessions and various information related to them. Search Pad is an application integrated into Yahoo! Search, designated primarily for taking notes about visited websites shown in a search result page. It provides automatic assistance when you need to save website addresses and other data. All information can be printed or emailed for future usage.
The Search Pad application is located at the right-hand side of the Yahoo! Search Results page and it will begin to record the visited sites automatically (Search Pad could be also turned off or permanently disabled by accessing the appropriate option from the drop down menu).
The saved documents can be further edited or organized when you log in to your Yahoo! account. The number of documents and notes allowed to be stored is unlimited, but the text content is limited to only 2000 characters (if this limit is excedeed, just the first 2000 characters of the note will be preserved).
Yahoo! Search Pad wants to be an alternative for Google Docs or other application or web based service for notes management. It provides many advantages, such as the notes sharing options and the universal availability from any computer connected to Internet, because it requires only a valid Yahoo! account and a modern web browser.
