The game can be played free of charge directly in a web browser, on computers having Windows XP or Vista operating systems and Internet Explorer 7, FireFox 2.0 or higher installed, only with the help of an ActiveX plugin which ensures the automatic update of the game files on client side, without the need of supplementary downloads and installation of patches or updates.
Quake Live structure is based on the Quake game released in 1999. It is a tactical multiplayer first person shooter, that can be played with your friends or other registered players.
