If you are frequently creating screenshots to publish them on the web, Screendash could save you a lot of time. It is a Windows based application, that besides the screenshots taking functionality, various other features are provided, like image editing in a layered Photoshop like style and automatic image sharing. Practically, Screendash simplifies the images publishing process on blogs or other websites, by eliminating the need for a third party image processing tool and an image hosting service.

Screendash was developed with the help of C# programming language and requires Microsoft framework at least version 3.5. This approach allowed to the developers to implement various image processing tools and filters into Screendash.

After a screenshot is taken, the user has the possibility to apply effects to the entire image or only to the selected parts of it. The paint and photo editing tools can be employed in the same time for the various image layers.

For example, in case of a given screenshot, there are available effects like sepia tone, black and white, invert and cartoon style. The image color is also changeable inside Screendash.

The image sharing is performed only by clicking the Share button. Then in the lower right corner of the screen, you will automatically get the image URL, the code necessary for image publishing in forums and the HTML code that will embed the screenshot in an web page.

Screendash is available for free download from the official website. Despite of its low file size, the application provides many unique image editing and painting features, rarely seen into similar screenshots management tools.
