Eight New Microsoft Security Updates For April 2009
As a part of the monthly security updates release plan, Microsoft has made available eight new security updates for various products. According to the Microsoft Security Bulletin articles corresponding to each of the issue patched, the new security updates solve five critical, two important and one moderate vulnerability. The security issues were caused by the possibility of remote code execution, elevation of privilege and denial of service.
These security threats affected Microsoft Office Excel, Microsoft DirectShow, WordPad and Office Text Converters, Windows HTTP Services, Internet Explorer, SearchPath, Microsoft ISA Server and Forefront Threat Management Gateway.
