Piwigo: A Free Full Featured PHP / MySQL Photo Gallery
Piwigo (formerly PhpWebGallery) is a web based images publishing and management tool, which allows you to create photo galleries online. It is a PHP application which stores the data into a MySQL database. In addition, Piwigo provides an API, enabling the possibility to request data from within other PHP applications to display photos or for administrative purposes for example. This PHP / MySQL application has an enhanced navigation system through tags, categories trees or based on picture’s metadata (chronology).

Piwigo is available for free download and requires a hosting space with MySQL 5, PHP 5 and 5 Mb free storage space for the application’s files.
