Scoopler: Hot Internet News Delivered In Real Time
Scoopler is a new search engine which aggregates and organize content shared in real time from the most popular social networks. It constantly indexes live updates from social networking services like Twitter, Digg, Delicious and others. As a consequence, the users will get an overview about what is happening on the Internet right now, Scoopler making easier the live tracking of the important breaking news, events, photos or videos.
The Scoopler graphical user interface is very simple to use. It has three columns: into the middle one the live updated news feed is continually scrolled, while the left and right column shows popular Internet resources, split into hot topics and respectively popular videos, links and images.
The live updated news do not require you to hit the page refresh button because they will automatically appear into the middle column. The hot topics, situated in the left side of the browser window is formed by a list containing the headlines of stories associated with the top trending search words on Scoopler.
The user can check out a video, a link or other popular content into the right column of the GUI (graphical user interface) by hitting the Peek button, without being the need to leave the current page. In the same time, certain social content indexed on Scoopler could be rapidly shared on social networks like Twitter, Digg, FriendFeed, Google Reader and on many other web services.
Scoopler meta search engine can be accessed directly by typing its URL into the web browser address bar or in case of Firefox users, a practical add-on is also provided (registration is not required in order to use the Scoopler service).
