Iomega made available worldwide a new generation of Iomega® eGo™ Portable Hard Drive. The portable hard drives can be connected to a PC or a Mac through an USB 2.0 port and they are delivered in four different colors, having up to 500GB in data storage capacity. Every Iomega® eGo™ Portable Hard Drive comes bundled with data backup and antivirus software suite for free. As compared with similar products, these portable hard drives do not even need a power supply to be carried around.

The eGo Portable Hard Drives connected through USB 2.0 ports, are shipped with a “Y” cable which allows you to use two USB ports to power the drive, if needed.
