Over 30 Million Xbox 360 Users Could Have Live Sky Television On Console
As the official mark of worldwide users of Xbox 360 consoles has passed 30million and in the same time the Xbox Live community gathered more than 20 million active members, now Xbox 360 funs can also have premium live television directly on their games console. Sky’s online TV service, will be delivered to Xbox LIVE in the autumn of 2009, permitting users to access various channels and programs to view live or on-demand, due to Xbox 360 and Sky ground-breaking partnership.
Xbox users will be able to enjoy a broad range of services: “There will be a range of unique interactive services available to the Xbox LIVE / Sky Player offering. For Sky Sports, for example, this will mean that live coverage will be supported by range of applications to enhance the viewing experience further. As well as fans being able to communicate with one another in real time via their broadband connections, they will also be able to check news and access fixtures, league tables and other on-demand information. Interactive applications will also be developed across other programmes genres.”
