Firefox 3.5 RC 1 Was Released In 70 Languages
The first release candidate of Firefox web browser (Firefox RC 1) was just released for testing. It represents the seventh development milestone of the Firefox 3.5 version. This release is considered to be almost stable, therefore is primarily intended for developers and members of the testing community. In addition, one or more of your add-ons installed with the latest stable version of Firefox could not work with Firefox RC 1.
Firefox 3.5 Release Candidate 1 embeds new technologies and delivers a better overall performance, which is reflected in a higher browsing speed (lower pages loading time). The enhanced performance of this Firefox release is ensured by the Gecko 1.9.1 rendering engine.
Firefox 3.5 Release Candidate 1 provides the next new features, as follows:
-Improved tools for controlling your private data, including a Private Browsing Mode.
-Better performance and stability with the new TraceMonkey JavaScript engine.
-The ability to provide Location Aware Browsing using web standards for geolocation.
-Support for native JSON, and web worker threads.
-Improvements to the Gecko layout engine, including speculative parsing for faster content rendering.
-Support for new web technologies such as: HTML5
This version of Firefox browser is available for free download in more than 70 languages from the Mozilla website. The latest stable version of Firefox for Windows, Linux and Mac OS X is 3.0.11.
