Facebook Search Gives Results In Real Time
A fraction of a percent of the people on Facebook will participate in the testing process of the features of the new Facebook search engine, which will delivers the search results in real time. The testers will see new layouts for search results. These layouts will still also contain profiles, Facebook Pages, groups and applications, besides the new Search features.
A recent post on the Facebook blog explains a few details of the new Facebook search functionality:“With the test, you will be able to search your News Feed for the most recent status updates, photos, links, videos and notes being shared by your friends and the Facebook Pages of which you’re a fan. You will also be able to search for status updates, posted links and notes in Search from people who have chosen to make their profile and content available to everyone.”
For every search query performed based on a keyword or key phrase typed in the “Search” field situated in the upper-right corner of any Facebook page, the user will obtain the latest updates of friends and people who selected to make their content available publicly.
