Windows 7 Box Is Easy To Open
The revolutionary operating system Windows 7 from Microsoft will be packaged in a simpler manner, as compared to its predecessor Windows Vista. The packaging system for the upcoming Windows 7 operating system is based on three principles: clean design, easy to open and waste reduction. For example, in case of Windows Vista, the packaging system had a higher degree of complexity determined by the existence of different sets of instructions needed to open the boxes.
Windows 7 box will be indeed easier to open, according to the explanation provided by Brandon LeBlanc on Windows 7 Team Blog: “We’ve reduced the number of elements in the package down to three: the plastic case, the paper sleeve, and a simple Getting Started Guide. The plastic case opens easily like a standard DVD case and it will have a single easy-to-remove seal at the top - and that’s it!”
The shape of the package is similar to the ones corresponding to Windows Vista. The case is made from a plastic material (having the role to protect Windows 7 disk ) and can be recycled. Its weight was also reduced as compared to Windows Vista case.
Even Windows 7 was announced to be generally available on October 22, 2009, this fall you can grab a brand new Windows 7 package in the pre-sales period. Anyone who buys a new computer equipped with Windows Vista after June 26, 2009, will also get a free copy of Windows 7.
