Internet Explorer 8 Accelerators: A New Browsing Experience

Microsoft Internet Explorer 8 provides you various tools and add-ons to improve your browsing experience. The new Accelerators feature introduced in the version 8 of Microsoft Internet Explorer will definitely change the way in which you perform various tasks by removing the need to navigate to specific websites containing the desired web service. Practically, Accelerators are free browser add-ons capable to help you to execute common tasks, like translating a text or sending an email much faster.

For example, by highlighting a text on a web page and clicking on the corresponding Accelerator icon, the desired action will take place automatically, without the need to copy and paste the text on the web service page.

In Internet Explorer 8, accelerators can be managed (installed, enabled or disabled) from the Add-ons management section, situated under the Tools menu. More Accelerators are available for free download from the Internet Explorer 8 Add-ons Gallery.
