Windows 7 RTM Build 7600 Is Out: Get It Free
In many news articles related to the official date of Windows 7 RTM availability, there were made a series of speculations regarding the fact that Microsoft will announce the final build of Windows 7 RTM on July 13th, 2009 at the annual Worldwide Partner Conference, which takes place in New Orleans. The rumors are sustained by the leaked version of Windows 7 RTM Build 7600, now available for free download from torrent links or file sharing services, such as RapidShare, MegaUpload and DepositFiles.
The latest build of Windows 7 RTM was made public by Long Zheng on Has Windows 7 RTMed? website.
The complete Build string of Windows 7 RTM is 6.1.7600.16384.win7_rtm.090710-1945, compiled on July 10th, 2009. According to Windows 7 Center, this build of Windows 7 RTM “is a major jump from 6.1.7271.0.win7_rtm.090709-1520, the build that preceded the RTM. This build contains a valid digital signature, which cannot be faked.”
The leaked ISO image of Windows 7 Build 7600 is intended for 64bit computers architectures. The download links for the file 7600.16384.090710-1945_x64fre_client_en-us_Retail_Ultimate-GRMCULXFRER_EN_DVD.iso, corresponding to the possible final version of Windows 7 RTM, were published on My Digital Life website:
“The Chinese leaker apparently chooses to upload the DVD ISO images in 32 parts of 100 MB each. The leaked Windows 7 RTM 64bit ISO .RAR part files are been uploaded to RayFile, a Chinese file hosting service, which requires download of RaySource in order to grab popular files.”
As there is mentioned in the recent article Windows 7 Home Premium Family Pack Speculations, until the General Availability date, you should expect more torrent links to be published for leaked editions of Windows 7, which will allow users to download Windows 7 for free.
