Finally, YouTube enables users to share 3D videos which can be watched with a 3D stereoscopic video player. The stereoscopic player is in the early stages of development, but one of the Google developers who works on this project has leaked the YouTube 3D stereoscopic tags, needed to control the behavior of the 3D video in player.

The following list show the YouTube 3D stereoscopic tags necessary to manage the shared 3D video inside the stereoscopic player:

-yt3d:enable=true Enables the view mode.
-yt3d:aspect=3:4 Sets the aspect of the encoded video.
-yt3d:swap=true Swaps the left and right sources.
-yt3d:left=0_0.1_0.5_0.9 and yt3d:right=0.5_0.1_1_0.9 These tags are very provisional and most useful for fixing up old videos. They set the source area for each eye as pairs of coordinates x1_y1_x2_y2. The scale of these coordinates is 0,0 for the the top left down to 1,1 for the bottom right.

The yt3d:enable=true is the required tag to enabled the stereoscopic player. Here it is a demo of YouTube 3D stereoscopic video player (the 3D view style can be changed from the drop down box situated at the bottom of the player):
