Firefox 3.7 Will Look Better On Windows 7 And Vista
Regarding Firefox browser, in the last days, you might have heard in the news only about the security flaws that affect even the latest version (Firefox 3.5.1). Now, it’s good news time: the themes for Firefox 3.7 unveiled on MozillaWiki show a completely different and revolutionary look of the browser when it is deployed on Windows 7, Vista and even Windows XP.
The article published on MozillaWiki, which describes the Firefox 3.7 Windows themes details, informs users about the fact that the mockups are not final and are intended only for brainstorming and exploration.
Firefox Theme Revamp (Windows 7 and Windows Vista) has the following elements:
1.Embracing Glass: Toolbar and Tabs using Glass. Buttons translucent and slightly glossy to meld with the toolbar. Raised 3D look achieves a tactile “feel”.
2.Page Button: Connect the Page button to the left side of the tab area. Directly connected to the Page.
3.Tools/Bookmark Bar: Connecting the Tools button to the side of the Window to emphasize the fact that it is used for customizing and changing the UI. Adding a button next to that to toggle the Bookmarks Bar which is turned off by default.
Firefox Theme Revamp (Windows XP) is cleaner than the one corresponding to Windows 7 and Vista, users having space for more tabs, since the Page Button is missing:
