The Unknown Features Of Wolfenstein
Wolfenstein 3D, the software who may be considered the pioneer of the first person shotter games, has tons of features that you might have not discovered yet. Joystiq presents an unique video trailer of Wolfenstein entitled “”featurette”, which shows only the notable features of this game, regarding the characters motion options, weapons construction and functionality, video rendering techniques and more.
Concerning the content of the new Wolfenstein video trailer, Ben Gilbert explains: “Alright, look, Activision — we’ve seen quite enough of Wolfenstein already. What with the recent comic strips and the constant stream of trailers since last July, it feels like we’re writing something about BJ Blazkowicz every day. For the most part, the trailers have become fairly repetitive at this point — lucky you, this one’s a “featurette.””
According to the official announcement of Wolfenstein 3D release, the game has six episodes that span 60 levels: “Wolfenstein 3D offers players a chance to experience the intensity of escaping from Castle Wolfenstein all over again. Classic enemies like Hans Grosse and Mecha-Hitler await players in the six episodes that span 60 levels. Gamers taking the challenge to defeat the twisted Nazi regime also will earn accolades and be awarded gold for customizable weapon upgrades in id Software’s all new, Wolfenstein.”
Wolfenstein 3D for Xbox 360, PLAYSTATION 3 and PC will be available in stores starting with August 2009.
