Uberplayer: A Media Player Made With JavaScript

media-player Starting from the idea of focusing user attention only over the playback of a movie published inside a web page, Paul Bakaus has made a media player called Uberplayer and coded with JavaScript, that does not show unnecessary elements during the video file playback. If an user runs a movie within Uberplayer, only a search interface and video information are shown at the top of the graphical interface. Uberplayer provides slide-in elements for controlling the video with the help of the mouse or keyboard.

O3D: 3D Graphics In JavaScript

google-logo4Google has recently introduced, O3D, an open-source JavaScript API which allows the creation of 3D graphics applications capable to run in a web browser. Based on O3D JavaScript API, you are enabled to build virtual worlds, games, product demos and more 3D interactive applications. The O3D application can be deployed as a browser plugin and as a consequence, the users do not have to download and run the standalone application on their operating systems. Even more, the applications performance is maximized by the usage of GPU’s shader language directly, as compared with the software rendering.
