Bing Twitter: Get Tweets In Microsoft Bing

Microblogging data from Twitter is a good source of real time news from the web, maybe better than any popular search engine. Considering Twitter as a primary source of information updated in real time from all around the world, Microsoft became interested by Twitter phenomenon, by considering it a priority for consumers needs. As a consequence, developers added a new feature to Bing, the newly launched Microsoft search engine: the integration of real time data from Twitter in Bing search results.

Free Download Windows Server 2008 and Windows Vista SP2 In 36 Languages

In May 2009, there was announced the Release To Web (RTW) of Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008 SP2, which represents a service pack designated to update both operating systems. It contains all updates included in SP1 and will add support for new types of hardware and for several emerging standards. Initially, Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008 SP2 was launched only in five languages (English, French, German, Japanese, and Spanish), but the latest release is compatible with all 36 supported languages in Windows Server 2008 SP1 / Windows Vista SP1 operating systems.

Windows 7 Beta Expires Soon

As you may already know, if you have installed Windows 7 Beta operating system, starting with July 1st, 2009, your computer will begin to reboot every two hours and your copy of Windows 7 Beta will expire on August first. Therefore, it is a good idea to upgrade to Windows 7 RC, but in this case you should hurry, because the Release Candidate of the upcoming Windows 7 operating system can be downloaded only until August 15, 2009.

Windows 7 Box Is Easy To Open

The revolutionary operating system Windows 7 from Microsoft will be packaged in a simpler manner, as compared to its predecessor Windows Vista. The packaging system for the upcoming Windows 7 operating system is based on three principles: clean design, easy to open and waste reduction. For example, in case of Windows Vista, the packaging system had a higher degree of complexity determined by the existence of different sets of instructions needed to open the boxes.

Microsoft Security Essentials Beta: Official Release

Last week a leaked version of the Microsoft new antivirus product code named Morro (Microsoft Security Essentials) was published on various Internet sites. Now, Microsoft officially launched a beta version of Microsoft Security Essentials, the free anti-malware application, which is the successor of Windows Live OneCare security service. The beta program offers Microsoft Security Essentials antivirus software just for the first 75000 users who will download it. The download limit could be extended, depending on the general public demand.

The Leaked Microsoft Security Essentials Could Kill Your RAM

Even the official version of the new free Microsoft antivirus product,code named Morro was announced to be released in the second half of 2009, a leaked version is already available for download, as well as many other Microsoft products intended only for authorized testers, like various builds of Windows 7. It seems that the the antivirus product was renamed by Microsoft, the new name being Microsoft Security Essentials. The software is capable to ensure real-time protection against malware (spyware, rootkits, trojans and more).

Free Microsoft Antivirus: Morro Beta

Already announced in November 2008, the free Microsoft antivirus product code-named “Morro”, now is tested by Microsoft employees. Morro beta is expected to be launched in the second half of 2009 year, but a specific date was not provided yet. It will offer comprehensive protection from malware, including viruses, spyware, rootkits and trojans, as a free alternative for commercial antivirus products.

Windows 7 E Does Not Have Internet Explorer

As the release date of the Windows 7 is coming (October 22, 2009), European Union users will also have the new operating system delivered on time, but without Internet Explorer bundled with it. Windows 7 for European users will have the letter E at the end of the product name and will be available as 32 bit and respectively 64 bit flavors. All versions of Windows 7 delivered in United States will be shipped in European Union too, in 23 languages.

Bing API 2.0 Comes To Project Silk Road

Windows Mobile 6.5 Developer Tool Kit Is Out

Just released by Microsoft, Windows Mobile 6.5 Developer Tool Kit allows you to create applications for Windows Mobile 6.5. It integrates into Visual Studio the necessary documentation, sample code, header and library files, emulator images and tools. Windows Mobile 6 SDK is also required in order to use the new Windows Mobile 6.5 Gesture API or samples.
