SocialText Is Free

socialtext According to the new Packages&Prices plans, SocialText services can be used for free. SocialText is an online collaboration platform based on social networking principles, which provides social messaging, wiki workspaces with integrated weblogs, distributed spreadsheets, and a personal dashboard for every user. These features are also available through a free desktop client built with Adobe AIR technology. The desktop software is a Rich Internet Application, compatible with Windows, Linux and Mac OS X operating systems and is entitled Socialtext Desktop.

Firefox 3.5 RC (Release Candidate) 1 Is Almost Here

firefox-logo1 Even Mozilla has modified the initial date when the first release candidate of Firefox 3.5 will be available for Internet public (now the official release date for Firefox 3.5 RC 1 is June 10th), you can have a preview of what can do the RC version of the browser. According to a recent Lifehacker post, by downloading and installing the latest beta version of Firefox 3.5 (Firefox 3.5 beta 4), you will have the possibility to upgrade the browser to the Preview release, which is not the release candidate, but it includes more refinements than any beta.

Prism 1.0 Beta Brings Web Directly To The Desktop

prism-icon Mozilla Labs has started eighteen months ago an experiment called Prism, which allows Internet users to bring any website or web based application directly to the desktop. The web experience will be based on the same features like in case of Internet navigation with web browser, but in absence of it. Now, the developers from Mozilla Labs have released Prism 1.0 Beta, alongside a new website, where users can download Prism as a Firefox extension or as standalone application.

Adobe Released An Extended Flash Platform For Digital Home
