This userscript automatically maintains a sticky post on StumbleUpon.com. A sticky post stays at the top of your blog pages. With this script installed, a specified post will always be moved to the top of your blog any time you post something new or edit another post without "don't change the date" selected.

*This script is in a beta testing stage (currently beta 3). It is possible (although unlikely) that the contents of a post selected as your sticky post might be corrupted or lost. I recommend saving a copy of the contents of your sticky post before using this script.*

I also recommend that you uninstall any older Sticky Helper userscript versions using the "Also uninstall associated preferences" option. This will help to ensure that existing sticky helper data does not conflict with newer beta versions.

DO NOT USE THE EDIT TAGS OR REVIEW BUTTON TO EDIT STICKY POST CONTENT. You can go there to modify tags if you want, but the review content will not be saved properly. I will try to restore the ability to edit sticky posts from the /url/ pages in beta 4, but for now you must use the Edit links on your blog to edit sticky posts.

Occasionally it seems that the sticky posts don't show up in the exact order they're supposed to. This is caused by network lag and I don't think it can really be prevented. It doesn't happen very often, and the top sticky post will always be on top. It's the other 4 that sometimes switch places.

To choose your sticky post, click Edit next to any post on your blog, select "make this my sticky post," and then Save Changes.

You can have up to five sticky posts at a time. To add a sticky post, just select "make this a sticky post" on a review or comment's Edit screen and Save Changes. To remove a sticky post, select "turn off the sticky helper for this post" while Editing a sticky post or click "Del" next to the sticky post. The sticky feature will be removed immediately, but you will be given the choice to cancel the deletion of the review/comment.

Sticky posts are displayed in first-added first-shown order. If you want to move a sticky post to the top, you have to unstick all the ones above it and re-add them in the order you want them to be shown.

*Any time you visit your blog, Sticky Helper will make sure your sticky posts are at the top.*

*Edit Fix users:* Make sure you are using "Edit Fix 1.1":"http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/3963. Older versions conflict with Sticky Helper 2.0. If you are unsure which version you have, please upgrade it.

*Beta Changes:*
Beta 2 (Sept 30) adds support for the SU WYSIWYG userscript and adds a dialog when you add a new review or edit an existing one using "Edit Tags or Review." This should guarantee that the sticky post is moved to the top. I'll try to eliminate the dialog in upcoming versions.

Beta 3 (Oct 26) adds support for up to 5 sticky posts and removes ALL support for the "Edit Tags or Review" button. This means that if you make any changes to a sticky review using the "Edit Tags or Review" button they will be lost when the sticky posts are updated next.
