Description:
For those of you with last.fm accounts that want to sing along to the songs you're listening to. Adds a little note icon to the left of the artists and such on the user pages. This note links to the search function on songmeanings.net, where it either takes you direct to the lyric, or in the case of multiple results, a page of them. There are bugs in this, but this is my first time using javascript and greasemonkey, and was intended for personal use only. Known Bugs: * <strike>Icon doesn't appear on links sidebar in journal posts, and messes up the layout instead</strike> - Fixed (V1.4) * <strike>Some artists or songs not covered due to a different url layout (/musicpages/)</strike> - Fixed (V1.3) * Some songs and artists don't search too well due to foreign characters. For example, "Mötley Crüe" * <strike>Some Songs/Artists don't search correctly on songmeanings (AC/DC, for example). While this is a bug, there's not a lot I can do about it.</strike> - Fixed (V1.4) * <strike>Links appear (in a quite annoying fashion), in the neighbour's page</strike> - Fixed (V1.4) * <strike>Lyric-links appear on overall-albums page and mess up layout</strike> - Fixed (V1.4) * Links appear in the image blocks of the new last.fm version Erm, I guess that's all I've bothered to find. If you find any more then please notify me. (Even if they're are bugs when used in conjunction with another plugin) I shall try to fix these at a later date. * The journal sidebar bug is now fixed. Links will now only appear in the journal posts * The links on the neighbour's page have now been removed, as they weren't really necessary, and were ugly anyway * The links have now been removed from the overall albums page, to stop messing up the layout * Songmeanings appears to have fixed their bug regarding AC/DC and such (Or I did and never realised) * It has been brought to my attention that the Foreign Characters bug /could/ be just me using the wrong typeface thing, but I've not been able to confirm this. I might put a little function in with the next update to solve this bug anyway. <u>Version 1.3</u> - (30 Dec 2005)
* Fixes the /musicpages/ bug, so that all artists and songs have lyric-links.
